Setting Up Xero Accounts Integration
This article will help show you how to setup Xero Accounts Integration.
Instructions
Step 1: Click on Accounting Software tab from following link https://blindmatrix.biz/community/ and download the Xero BMC Setup zip file.
Step 2: Right click on the Xero BMC Setup zip file and Extract All.
Step 3: Double click on Xero BMC setup file which you have received.
Step 4: After installing, double click on Xero BMC icon which is shown it on Desktop to configure Xero.
Step 5: Click on BMC Configuration.
Step 6: Please Enter the Following Details,
Host Name: “95.138.133.220”
Company Name:”Enter your company name as entered in BlindMatrix”
User name: “BlindMatrix User name”
Password: “BlindMatrix Password”
And then Click on Test Connection button.
Step 7: Click on ‘Configuration’ and then click on ‘Xero Configuration’.
Step 8: If not installed in the ‘Win32OpenSSL_Light-1_1_0e' then Click on 'GENERATE SSL’. Run the ‘Win32OpenSSL_Light-1_1_0e' Setup file and then run 'xeroconfig.bat' file, it will ask for few inputs, but skip all by pressing “Enter" Key.
Step 9: Check path "C:\OpenSSL-Win32\bin” if "publickey.cer" certificate is generated.
Step 10: Go to https://api.xero.com/link and select 'My Apps' (As Shown in below image). And in the My Applications screen in the Xero Developer portal -> Click on 'Add Application' to add your application
Step 11: Select “Private” and enter a name for your application.
Step 12: Choose your organization from the drop down list
Step 13: Please select Upload X509 certificate file (.cer), then choose file from : C:\OpenSSL-Win32\bin
Step 14: Select the file named “publickey”
Step 15: Check the box T&C then click on Save
Step 16: You will get a Consumer Key and secret key.
Step 17: Copy the consumer key and consumer secret which you have generated as shown in Step 16.
Step 18: Click on Browse
Step 19: Go to: C:\OpenSSL-Win32\bin
Step 20: Select the public_privatekey and click on open.
Step 21: Select the relevant Tax Rate and Tax option.
Step 22: Click on Connect Xero once everything configured correctly then you will get a message “Xero connected successfully”.
