New version of iOS App release

Below are the features which are being released with the iOS new build.

1. Show Order Status in the Customer Page

2. Multiple Versions of Quotes can be created

3. User defined fields are shown in the iOS App

4. Permissions for the Sales Reps to create appointments for only themselves / other users

5. Set permissions to the users to view jobs based on Job Status

6. Set a default appointment type and staff against each customer

7. Delivery Cost works based on Percentage as well


Please find below more details about each feature.

1. Show Order Status in Customer Page

Now Order Status can be viewed in the iOS App in the Customer page. Please see the screenshot below.




2. Multiple Versions of Quotes can be created

Now multiple versions of quotes can be created through the iOS App. This feature is already available in the desktop and now its available in iOS also.

Please see below screenshot to know how to create a new version of quote. 




3. User defined fields are shown in the iOS App

To see the user defined fields in the iOS App, go to Further Information Page.

The user defined fields which are created in the desktop will be shown in the iOS App now. 




4. Permissions for the Sales Reps to create appointments for only themselves / other users

Now the permissions are added for the sales reps to create appointments only for themselves or for the selected users.

To set permissions, Go to the Desktop App >> Settings >> Users >> User Account >> Mobile Permissions.

View / Assign Appointments: User can view / assign the appointments only to the users who are listed there. By default, the user can add appointments to oneself.



5. Set permissions to the users to view jobs based on Job Status

This feature allows the reps to see the jobs based on Job Status.
For example: Sales reps should see only jobs with the job status, Quote.

This permission is set in the user acounts under Mobile permissions. View orders - Job status view.

6. Set a default appointment type and staff against each customer

For each customer, we can set a default appointment type and staff to create appointments easily.
To do this, go to the customer account and set the default staff name as shown in the below screenshot. 
So when we create appointments, it will directly show the defaut staff name. 
This was already working in the desktop, now its there in iOS App also.



7. Delivery Cost now works based on Percentage value as well

On iOS now the delivery cost can be added based on the percentage of the order value as well. Earlier it used to work only based on fixed value but now it works based on the percentage vaule as well.
To set the delivery cost, go to the Desktop App >> Settings >> Delivery Cost
We can set the delivery cost based on the fixed and the percentage basis.
